Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority Seeks Public Comment on Draft Disparity Study
The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority will host a public forum on October 25, 2012 seeking public comment on its draft Disparity Study, which was commissioned to assist with the Authority’s development of procurement policies that meet the objectives of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program. The Authority’s DBE program is designed to satisfy the federal government requirement to promote increased participation in Authority contracts by DBEs.
The forum will start at 4:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. and will be held in the Bob Hope Airport Terminal Skyroom. Validated parking is available in the Short Term parking structure across from the front entrance of the terminal building. Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority Releases Preliminary Draft of Disparity Study
The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority has released a preliminary draft of a Disparity Study that it commissioned to assist with its development of procurement policies that meet the objectives of the U.S. Department of Transportation's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program. The Authority’s DBE program is designed to satisfy the federal government requirement to promote increased participation in Authority contracts by DBEs. In general, the Disparity Study analyzes the participation in Authority construction and engineering contracts by minority-owned and women-owned firms from January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2009.
The Authority is soliciting public comment on the draft Disparity Study.
